In 2011 ABS has introduced a record breaking 1.675 new articles! As specialist ABS offers the largest product range from stock. In 2010 there were 1.257 new article introductions diveded between the ABS article groups of brake parts, steering and suspension parts, and wheel bearing kits.

A few more fun facts... The total weight of these articles is 3.039,34 kilo, just under two kilo's on avarage. The heaviest article introduced last year was a disc for the Mercedes S600, weighing a little over 15 kilograms! That we go to great lenghts for our clients is something we are proud of, but did you know that if you had ordered every newly introduced article and made a long queue you would end up with a line up of more that 322 meter!

Important reason for the increase of new articles is the increased complexity of new cars. Accelerated innovation of articles leads to a shorter production life of an article. This has direct consequences in the number of article references that has to available in the aftermarket.
